Warehousing

Our warehouse provides a safe and dry environment for products. All our storage facilities are fitted with alarm systems, camera security, and fire protection.

Since safety is of utmost importance at FreightNed Warehousing, we always see to it that the warehouse and equipment are in excellent condition.

We exclusively work with well-trained and instructed staff to guarantee and maintain security. At the warehouse, safety shoes are obligatory and visitors are required to wear a reflective safety vest.

If you store goods at our warehouse, we can take care of just about any related activity, such as order picking, storage administration, and preparing your goods for shipment.

Goods can be stored according to the method of your choosing: FIFO, LIFO, or FEFO. We register batches and can trace each pallet through our Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Barcode scanning

All pallets that are stored at FreightNed are scanned, so that you can check the status of your goods at any given time.

We use our own barcodes to process goods, so you are not required to create them yourself. One fewer problem for you to worry about!

In case you do need your own barcodes, you are naturally free to use them. We have plenty of experience with that as well.

Bulk storage

With over 42,000 square metres of storage space at our Oosterhout location alone, we always have space to store your goods.

Whether you are looking for short-term storage in order to (temporarily) save business space or for the long term, FreightNed has the space. For long-term storage, we can serve as a gateway to further move your goods throughout the Benelux. It does not matter whether the volume of goods is large or small.

Storing bulk goods is especially suitable for clients who want to distribute goods throughout the country in a short time. Through fine-mazed distribution we can, for example, organise the automatic distribution of goods after certain date in a very detailed manner.

Inbound & Outbound

Every day, hundreds of shipments enter and leave our warehouse. And every single box or pallet that comes in or goes out is registered, whether it is only for an hour or for a couple of weeks. All orders are registered in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and are given a barcode, if necessary.

This method allows us and you to check the status and location of your goods at any given time.

Container service

FreightNed is highly skilled in storing and transferring containers and only performs these activities according to strict safety standards. Containers from Antwerp, Rotterdam and Moerdijk arrive at our warehouse in Oosterhout by waterway or road. There, they are palletised, wrapped in shrink wrap, if needed, and stored at our warehouse.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

EDI offers a standardised solution for partners in the logistics chain to exchange messages. We offer a number of ways to exchange orders electronically.
